(California Highway Patrol El Centro Office)....They are welcoming back two native sons.

Officer Garret Larson and Officer Carlos Arias are from the Imperial Valley. Larson is from El Centro. He graduated from Southwest High School in 2008. He graduated from the CHP Academy in 2018. He has worked in the South Los Angeles, El Cajon and Oceanside CHP Offices before transferring to the El Centro office. Officer Arias was raised in Calexico. He graduated from Calexico High School in 2007 and obtained a master's degree in 2018 from SDSU. He graduated from the CHP Academy in 2023 and worked in the San Diego CHP Office before transferring to the El Centro Office.
