(The T.K. Jones Campground to be closed)....The Bureau of Land Management says the campground will be closed from August 2 through August 12.

The BLM says the closure will allow crews to repave the campgrounds parking area. The Boat Launch and day use camp area will remain open. The T.K. Jones Campground and Boat Launch is located on the backwaters of the Colorado River, directly above the Imperial Dam. The campground has over 100 RV and dispersed tent camping sites, and other amenities. The paving project is part of BLM's ongoing improvements designed to provide a safer and more enjoyable recreation experience for all visitors.
