Also participating is the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and other law enforcement agencies. The Mexican Mafia is predominantly a Prison Gang, with outside contacts. The ongoing investigation has resulted in 16 arrests so far, along with the seizure of guns, drugs and alleged criminal proceeds. The investigation covers all of Southern California.
