The Imperial County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday.

Among the action taken by the board was the approval the 2025-2026 budget for the imperial County Citrus Pest Control District #1. The board also met Tango, a pest control detection canine that is now part of the County Agriculture Department. The board, sitting as the Air Pollution Control District, approved a three-year, $1.18 million agreement for the Asthma Smart Management Awareness Program. The program aims to improve asthma care, education, and prevention for at-risk communities in the Valley. 

The board also recognized the Employee of the Month for June, Gerardo A. Quero Lora, Planner II, with the Imperial County Planning Department.
