(Celebration for the new Fire Chief)...The Calexico City Council recently named Juan Contreras the permanent Fire Chief.

Contreras had served as the interim Fire Chief for several months. At one time he served as the Interim Fire Chief and the Interim City Manager at the same time. Last week he was named permanent Fire Chief. Monday it was official with a pinning ceremony at station #1 in Calexico.
