(Making Voting easier for the voter)....That is the intent.

The Imperial County Registrar of Voters and her staff are making changes to the voting process.  Registrar Linsey Dale says the aim is to make it easier and a more flexible process. The goal is to have the new process operational by next year. Under the new process voters will not have to go to a polling place. They will be able to cast their ballots at any one of several voting centers. The plan is to open 14 voting centers around the county, along with 8 24 hour ballot drop boxes. The current decision is where should the voting centers be located. They are asking for public suggestions. They want locations that are ADA compliant, near transportation locations and have ample parking. They want them convenient for the community. Suggestions can be submitted to the Registrar of Voters office in person or emailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
