(Carlos Jacobo rescues a woman in Mexicali)...Jacobo is an actor who just finished appearing in an Indie Film filmed in Imperial County.

Late last week Mexicali police say a woman and her infant daughter had gone to a money exchange in Mexicali. As she got in her car to leave, a 54-year-old man jumped inside, grabbed the woman by the neck and ordered her to drive to another location. The woman rammed her vehicle into a pickup in front of her. That pickup was being driven by Jacobo.. The actor got out of his vehicle to inspect the damage and saw the woman being assaulted. Jacobo ordered the man to stop, but a struggle ensued. Jacobo was able to hold the suspect down until police arrived and place the man under arrest,
