U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers ended the month of April with several big drug seizures.

The San Diego Field Office reports that during April they seized more than 7570 pounds of illegal narcotics in 106 separate occasions. The drugs are estimated to have a street value of over $29 million. Over 4,400 pounds of methamphetamine, more than 2,700 pounds of cocaine, 400 pounds of fentanyl and 5 pounds of heroin were take off the streets. The San Diego CBP Field Office includes both Calexico ports, Andrade and San Diego County Ports of Entry.
