(Dancing For A Dream)...It has become a beloved charity event.

It benefits children in the Imperial Valley in need of medical assistance. It is normally held every year in October. This year's event has been postponed and rescheduled for October 2026. Angie Pena, Event coordinator has recently been diagnosed with Lymphoma and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. The treatments are expected to last through September. Officials say the extension will allow Pena to complete her treatments without the added stress of organizing the event.
