(An Ice Cream Social, Rain on Main event)....It will be held next month in El Centro.

It had been a yearly event in El Centro until it was dropped for various reasons about 10 years ago. The event has been scheduled for Saturday, May 17,  from 6-9 pm in the Downtown Town Square. The event will feature Ice Cream, music, food vendors. a kids zone, a Beer Garden and the El Centro Fire Department will provide the Rain on Main Street. The event is hosted by El Centro Parks and Recreation.
