U.S. Border Patrol agents from the El Centro Sector nabbed two men suspected of stealing from railroad freight cars.

The two were found in possession of 478 pairs of sneakers. The high-end Jordan sneakers are valued at over $80,000. The pair are believed to be members of a theft ring that targets railcars along empty stretches of tracks in the Southern California desert. The pair are now facing charges of Re-Entry After Deportation and Theft from an Interstate or Foreign Shipment.
