Imperial City Council Mayor Pro-Tem, Dr. Ida Obeso-Martinez, will attend President Trump's Joint Adress to Congress.

Dr. Obeso-Martinez will be the guest of Congressman Dr. Raul Ruz. Dr. Obeso-Martinez, a life-long resident of Imperial County, is a Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner. The Mayor Pro-Tem said, " I am deeply honored and grateful to Congressman Dr. Raul Ruiz for the opportunity to attend the Joint Session of Congress. As a lifelong advocate for expanding health care access in the Imperial Valley, I am here to stand against Medicaid cuts that would limit the care our health facilities can provide to patients."
