The Southern California Association of Government is offering the scholarships in partnering with the California Transportation Foundation. Applicants must reside in the SCAG region, which covers the counties of Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura, or on Tribal Land in the SCAG region. You must be a graduating high school senior or a currently enrolled community college student planning to attend a 2-year or 4-year college or university. Must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average and you must be eligible to work in the United States. To apply you need a minimum 500 word personal statement describing your career goals and interests, two letters of recommendation, transcripts from your current school and a completed online application available on the SCAG website. The deadline to apply is by 5 pm Friday March 21.
