Calexico Police are asking for help in solving a cold case involving vehicular manslaughter.

Police are continuing their investigation into a July 22, 2024 accident that occurred at State Route 111 and State Route 98. The body of Steven Keller was found in the area shortly after 2:00 a.m. Based on evidence collected during the investigation, it was determined that possibly two separate vehicles struck Keller. Calexico Police are asking that anyone who may have information contact the department. In particular, detectives are interested in hearing from anyone who was driving northbound in that area between 1:50 a.m. and 2:10 a.m. July 22, 2024. Anyone who may have noticed unusual behavior or saw any vehicles acting suspiciously in the area or any one that may have information about any vehicles that may have been involved in the incident.
