(Holtville Carrot Festival is coming)....Before the Festival gets underway, the Royalty must be selected.

The 2025 Royalty candidates have been announced. There are 11 candidates in the running this year for the 78th Annual Carrot Queen, Princess or Jr. Princess. In the Queen category the contestants are; Ivy Alvarez, Yaneli Lopez and Aileen Salorio. In the Princess category the contestants are Grace Cerda, Jade Mia Gutierrez, and Leagh Lemus. And in the Jr. Princess Category the contestants are Alessia Kay Bisi, Leyda Martinez, Victoria Schaffner, Avery May Sutter, and Jocelyn Wells. The 78th Annual Carrot Festival Coronation and Citizen of the Year Banquet will be held at the IV Swiss Club on January 31st. For ticket information contact the Holtville Chamber of Commerce.
