( Imperial County Superior Court is part of a pilot program)....Under the program, Jurors are paid $100 per day for Jury Service.

It starts on the second day of their service. That is up from the previous $15 per day. Juror mileage reimbursement also increased from .34 cents to .64 cents per mile roundtrip. The pilot program is funded through Assembly Bill 1981 and administered by the Judicial Council of California. The purpose is to see if the increases improve juror diversity and participation. Other counties participating in the pilot program are Alameda, El Dorado, Fresno, Monterey, San Bernardino and Shasta. The program ends in 2026.
