(Five separate fires buring in Los Angeles)...Imperial Valley Fire Departments have sent personnel and equipment to assist.

Updates on the fires were released this morning and yesterday. The Palisades Fire started January 7. It has burned 17,234 acres and is still zero percent contained. The fire has destroyed 300 structures and is threatening over 13,000 more. The Eaton Fire, where many Imperial Valley firefighters were assigned, also began on January 7. It has burned 10,600 acres and is zero percent contained. The Hurst Fire has burned 855 acres and is 10% contained. The Lidia Fire has burned 348 acres and is 40% contained. The Sunset fire was reported Wednesday and has burned over 60 acres. It is zero percent contained. So Far no injuries have been reported at any of the fires.
