Royce Freeman is back with the Los Angeles Rams.

The Rams signed the Imperial Valley native to their practice squad on Tuesday and then promoted the veteran running back to the roster just a few hours later. Freeman replaces Blake Forum who was placed on injured reserve with a broken forearm. The 28-year-old Freeman, an Imperial High School standout, was an All-American at Oregon, and a third round pick by the Denver Broncos in 2018. He has played for the Broncos, Panthers, Texans, Rams, Cowboys, Browns, Bears and the Rams again. Freeman is expected to bring experienced depth to the Rams running back corps as they enter the NFL Playoffs.
