Final Weekend of Cattle Call starts tonight)..Very large crowds have been reported at events this week.

There are no numbers available to know if records were broken, but a large number of people attended the opening event. The Chili Cook-off, Rib Contest and Dia de los Muertos Celebration was held last Saturday. That was no fluke, because a very large crowd was also reported at the Mariachi Festival Wednesday night. Large crowds are anticipated for the final weekend as well. That weekend starts tonight with the first Rodeo Performance at Cattle Call Arena. Gates open at 5 pm and the Rodeo starts at 7 pm.. Saturday is a full day. It starts at 5 am with the Chuckwagon Breakfast in South Plaza Park. That leads to the 68th annual Cattle Call Parade at 9 am. After the parade the action shifts to the Cattle Call Park. The second Rodeo performance will be held at 7 pm.. Sunday is Family Day at Cattle Call Park. Gates open at 11 am. Family Day Features free pony rides, face painting, Roping exhibition and more. There will also be a lot of food and shopping from local vendors. The final Rodeo Performance at Cattle Call Arena starts at 1 pm.
