Simon is a former journalist, he is an English teacher at Imperial Valley College. He also has a series of young adult and middle grade novels published. Simon also writes short horror stories. Two of them were included in the anthology. Simon's stories Unholier Than Thou and The Slasher's Remorse were included along with several other horror shorts from authors across the country in the Anthology published by Tell-Tale Publishing.
