(Desert rescue)....It happened last week The Ajo, Arizona CBP received a report of a group in distress in the desert.
They notified the Yuma Sector Border Patrol, who immediately activated the Yuma Air Branch. The search team tracked a signal fire to an area south of Sentinel Arizona. They found a group of lost individuals, who told agents a member of their group was left behind after he apparently died. Agents continued the search and found a 14-year-old extremely dehydrated, but alive. Emergency medical care was provided, and an air ambulance was called in. The migrant was transported to a hospital. It was determined the others were healthy enough to be deported. The Mexican Consulate was notified, and the group was processed.
