(Grand Opening for a new Police Unit)....It is the Brawley Police Community Liaison Unit.

The Grand opening was Thursday. Following the ceremony there were two Open House events. The events gave the community members an opportunity to meet the dedicated professionals within the unit and learn more about the services they provide. The Police Community Liaison Unit is comprised of a team focused on community engagement and public safety. It includes a Community Liaison Officer, a Code enforcement Officer, Animal Control Officer, Graffiti Abatement Technician and Crime Prevention Officer. The unit is furthers supported by California National Guard Drug Demand Reduction Office soldiers, who assist in drug prevention efforts, and is overseen by the Community Liaison Supervisor, ensuring seamless coordination and effectiveness.
