El Centro Police have arrested a suspect in a break-in at Southwest High School.

The burglary was reported on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Investigators determined that two juveniles broke into the school and vandalized multiple locations on the Ocotillo Avenue campus. Several items were stolen as well. One juvenile was identified and arrested. The youth ws booked into Imperial County Juvenile Hall on burglary charges. The total cost of property damage is still being tabulated. School Resource Officers were able to determine that the juvenile arrested was not involved in the burglary on the Central High School campus earlier this week.
