(El Centro READS Literacy Program)...The Grand Opening is October 1st.

The El Centro Public Library's READS Literacy Program will host its Grand Opening from 10 am to 1 pm October 1st. It wiull be inside the new Literacy Center located at the City's Community Center, 375 South 1st Street in El Centro. The public is invited to attend. The program offers ESL classes focused on teaching, listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English, helping learners communicate more effectively in various aspects of life. The program also offers adult literacy classes aimed at helping individuals improve their reading and writing skills, focusing on essential skills like understanding text, spelling, grammar and composition.
