El Centro City Manager Cedric Cesena is retiring.

Cesena, who was named Interim City Manager in November of 2022 and appointed City Manager in July of 2023, will step down at the end of November. Prior to his service at City Hall Cesena was a Battalion Chief and Interim Chief of the El Centro Fire Department. Cesena said, " Council has set the course for a strong and resilient future, and I am confident that El Centro is in a strong position to continue thriving, thanks to the hard work of our team and the support of the community".
