Temperatures are dropping across the region.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) a cooling trend will bring temperatures in the Imperial Valley towards normal over the weekend, and below normal temperatures by the beginning of next week. This will, however, create breezy to windy conditions across the Valley. High temperatures by the weekend should be in the 100-degree range and by Monday highs should be in the upper 80's to very low 90's. Overnight lows will be in the low 60's. West winds could reach up to 20 miles per hour starting Sunday.
