(County Elections to start accepting write-in nominations)...The nominations are for the General Election, November 5th.

The County Registrar of Voters says starting September 9th, individuals interested in running as a write-in candidates for the upcoming election may begin picking up their nomination papers. To be eligible, potential write-in candidates must file their completed nomination papers with the Registrar of Voters' Office by 5 pm, October 22nd, 14 days before the election day. In addition to the nomination papers, candidates are required to file a Statement of Economic Interest and campaign disclosure statements. Candidates interested in running for city contests should contact their respective city offices for additional information and specific requirements.
