( Serving Jury Duty is a little easier)... Beginning September 1st, Jurors will get paid more.

In Imperial County jurors will receive $100 per day, beginning on the second day of Jury service. It had been $15 a day. The juror mileage reimbursement has also increased from 34 cents to 67 cents per mile roundtrip. It is a pilot program to see if it improves jury participation. The pilot program will end in 2026.
