(Wednesday is a day to honor Seniors)....County Board of Supervisors recently declared August 21 as National Seniors Day in Imperial County.

The purpose is to honor and appreciate the wisdom, achievements and ongoing contributions of older adults, while raising awareness about the importance of supporting and celebrating seniors in the county. The Area Agency on Aging hosts an annual Seniors day. It is normally held at the Fairgrounds. They have not announced when that will be.
