(Fire crews getting the upper hand at the Nixon Fire)....The Nixon Fire started on July 29th in Riverside County, near Temecula.

The Monday morning update from Cal Fire indicates the fire has burned over 5, 222 acres, and is now 82% contained. They say the cause of the fire is human, but they don't know if it was arson or an accident. Complete containment is expected this week.
