(Fire Reported at Spreckles Saturday)....Imperial County Fire responded and called in a 4th Alarm.

Holtville Fire, El Centro Fire, Brawley Fire, Calipatria Fire and Calipatria State Prison fire departments all responded. Sugar beet pulp had caught fire. Two vehicles were also destroyed, but crews were able to save several structures. Tee fire crews did not leave the scene until 3 am. Spreckles crews remained on scene to monitor the smoldering fire.
