The Mccain Fire has been 70 percent contained.

The fire, near Jacumba, started Monday afternoon when a car crashed and burned setting the brush on fire. As of Wednesday evening nearly 1,600 acres had been burned. According to CalFire, there have been no structures damaged but there has been one confirmed injury. Evacuation orders for a nearby resort were lifted Tuesday.
