The Imperial Valley Healthcare District (IVHD) has taken action on several items.

Last week, the board moved forward in establishing voting districts for the newly created healthcare district. Action was also taken to establish a timetable for dissolving the Heffernan Memorial Healthcare District and Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District. The board also approved a letter of intent to acquire El Centro Regional medical center. The action was taken as the board continues to implement the plan for a single, unified, healthcare district in the Imperial Valley as outlined in AB 918.
