(48 Students completed the first Lithium Training Course at IVC)....The course was instituted last fall at Imperial Valley College.

The purpose is to prepare a workforce for the Imperial Valley Lithium industry. The 48 students werte presented plant operator certificates during a recent ceremony in the College Center.. The certificates qualify the students to also work in other plants and not just Lithium plants. They can also work in Geothermal plants, water and wastewater plants and other mechanical and industrial plants.
