(County Registrar of Voters will deliver the Certified results of the April 16 Recall)... They will be delivered to the Board of Supervisors.

The election was to recall Calexico City Council Members Raul Urena and Gilberto Manzanarez. Once accepted, the results will be delivered to the Calexico City Council at their meeting Wednesday. Urena and Manzanarez will be removed from office at the Calexico meeting. The City Council will then decide how they want to fill the two vacancies, either by appointment, calling another special Election, or operating with 3 city council members until the election in November. All five council seats will be on the November ballot.
