(Calexico Recall election should be over on May 7)....That is when the Registrar of Voters is expected to deliver the certified results to the County Board of Supervisors.

Once the results are received by the Board, the results will be sent off to Sacramento. There are reportedly around 500 ballots that need to be counted. No actual update has been released, but elections says currently the Yes votes lead the No votes for the recall. The special election was held on April 16.
