The IID is inviting representatives of public agencies, municipalities, counties, school districts, tribes and the general public. The strategic workshop will focus on California's electrification mandates and the role of cutting-edge technologies and federal funding in addressing these challenges, As the public power provider for Imperial County and parts of southeastern Riverside County, IIS is at the forefront of strategic planning for future electrification. The workshop will take pace Thursday from 10 to 11:30 am in the IID Boardroom in La Quinta. Discussions will cover a range of topics including California's climate and clean energy goals, strategies for enhancing energy efficiency, the customer project process, and the development of electric vehicle infrastructure.
