The City of El Centro hosted a Leash Cutting at the brand new Bark Park.
The park designed for dogs is at 7th and Park in El Centro. The park has separate areas for large and small dogs, shade structures, a trail area, water features and lighting. The total cost of the project was $1.2 million with $500,000 donated by from Phil and Elise Heald. The remains cost came from Measure P funds. The Bark Park is open everyday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
