El Centro Police conducted a traffic stop and two men ended up in jail.

An El Centro Police Department officer made the traffic stop on a car. The driver and one of the passengers were found to have active warrants for their arrest. Initially, the pair refused to comply with orders to get out of the car but they were eventually detained. An automatic pistol was found in the waistband of one of the passengers, a convicted felon. Two arrests were made as a result of the traffic stop.
