(Border Patrol agents seize cocaine and arrest one)....It happened recently at the Highway 86 Checkpoint.

Ablack sedan had entered the primary inspection area at the checkpoint. During the preliminary search agents became suspicious. They sent the driver and the vehicle to the secondary inspection area. A Border Patrol K-9 Unit alerted to the vehicle's rear driver's side. Agents searched and found an aftermarket compartment containing 10 vacuum sealed packages. The packages tested positive for cocaine. The packages weighed 26 pounds with an estimated street value of over $374,000. The driver, a 30 year old female US Citizen, with the vehicle and the narcotics, were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration for further investigation.
