A three-car accident Saturday afternoon resulted in minor injuries and a partial closure of the roadway.

The accident was reported at about 5:48 p.m. Saturday at Eastbound Even Hewes Highway and State Route 111. Three vehicles were involved and a traffic control device was damaged. One person was transported to El Cento Regional Medical Center with what were said to be minor injuries. Caltrans crews responded to repair the device that controls the traffic lights at the intersection.
