Winds in Eastern Riverside County have been recorded at 35 to 55 miles per hour. In Imperial County winds have been recorded between 35 and 45 miles per hour. It has resulted in pockets of blowing dust. That has created hazardous driving conditions, with reduced visibility, and dangerous crosswinds for high profile vehicles. and resulted in air quality hazardous to sensitive individuals. The winds are expected to die down tonight, with light winds expected Tuesday.
