(County Board of Supervisors will be busy Tuesday)....They will be holding two meetings.

They will hold their regular meeting in the morning. That meeting will be at the Administration Building on Main Street in El Centro. During that meeting, the board will be asked to adopt a resolution honoring Vessey and Company Incorporated for their 100th year Anniversary. They will recognize Erika Morales as the Employee of the Month for September, and they will recognize several employees on their milestone anniversaries. On their action agenda, the board will discuss a Lithium Valley Land Use Alternatives Memorandum and requests relating to the project process. There will be updates from the Imperial County AB 617 Community Steering Committee from Calexico-Heber-El Centro and the Brawley-Westmorland-Calipatria Corridor. The supervisors will be asked to take action on the Imperial County Desert Shores Soccer Park. The CEO will also seek action from the Board on the Public Benefit Program. The Board will discuss several issues as the Air Pollution Control Board. Tuesday evening, the Supervisors will hold an off-site meeting at the Seeley Elementary School Gymnasium. During that meeting, the supervisors will be asked to declare the month of November as Caregiver Appreciation Month, National Adoption Month and November 12-18 as International Fraud Awareness Week. The rest of the meeting will include several presentations.
