( The Elections Department is getting ready for the Primary).....The Registrar of Voters says the Primary in California will be held March 5th, 2024.

The Signatures In-Lieu of Filing Fee Period is currently underway. It will remain open until November 8th. During the period, candidates will gather and submit signatures of registered voters to cover part or all of their Filing Fee. The candidate nomination period runs from November 13th through December 8th. Local races on the March Ballot include; Board of Supervisors Districts 2, 3, and 4. Imperial Irrigation District Divisions 2 and 4. And Superior Court Seats 1,2,3, and 4. For more information and the elections timeline, go to the Registrar of Voters website.
