(An Irrigator was robbed at just before mid-night Sunday)....Sheriff's investigators say the incident occured in a field near Forrester Road south of Aten Road.

The Irrigator was napping as he watered a field, when he was approached by an individual who attempted to rob the suspect. The irrigator attempted to escape the incident and was shot in the hand. The victim was able to get away, and reported the incident to the County Sheriff's Office. The suspect, who may have been accompanied by another individual, was seen getting away in a dark colored older model Toyota. The vehicle was seen  heading east on Aten Road. Investigators say it was a clean wound to the hand. The victim was given first aid. The sheriff's office notified other law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for the suspects. They say the incident remains under investigation.
