(Groundbreaking Ceremony)....It is scheduled for 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The ceremony is to begin the first two phases to extend Imperial Avenue in El Centro South of Interstate 8. The Groundbreaking ceremony will be held at Wake Avenue and South Imperial Avenue. The ceremony can be accessed by entering Wake Avenue from La Brucherie. The project will eventually extend Imperial Avenue to McCabe Road.
