A package was stolen from an El Centro residence and then recovered.

A resident of the 1000 block of North 12th Street in El Centro called police and told them that his ring camera notified him that a thief had just taken a package from his front porch. The man was wearing a red bandana, a black shirt, and jeans. El Centro police were able locate the thief, a 43-year-old man, near 8th and Pico and recover the stolen package. The homeowner declined to press charges.
