(Museum plans to be open in the summer)......For the first time, Pioneers Museum has a summer schedule.

The Museum will remain open during June and July, Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm and Sundays from 12 noon to 5 pm. The Museum will also host Museum After Hours on Thursdays from 4-8 pm, with free docent-led tours included in general admission. During the week, the museum will host drop-in activities for elementary school learners. Free activities include K-2nd Grade Storytime and 3rd-5th Grade Arts and Crafts. The sessions will be led by qualified, pre-screened volunteers and include a snack, supplies and a free admission ticket for adult guardian to enjoy the museum while their child participates in the activity. Beginning June 14th, scheduled activities will alternate weekly, with K-2nd Grade Storytime every other Wednesday 10-11:30 am, and 3rd-5th Grade Arts and Crafts every other Thursday 4-6 pm. All summer activities are free, but require pre-registration on the Imperial County Historical Society, Pioneer's Museum Eventbrite. Also during the summer, the Museum will offer free admission for Active Military and their families with military ID through the Blue Star Museum for up to 5 family members. This offer began in May and continues through the end of July.
