The Imperial Police Department arrested two juveniles for an armed robbery.

The two are suspected of being involved in a robbery on Friday, May 5, 2023. According to Imperial Police, the robbery occurred near the McDonald's restaurant in Imperial at about 3:45 p.m. According to the victim, the suspects approached him and brandished a knife, demanding that he give them his personal items and money. After a short altercation, the suspects fled with the victim's property. There were no injuries. Investigators were able to collect information and video evidence that led to the identity of the suspects. The pair were taken into custody and booked at Imperial County Juvenile Hall and charged with Robbery, Brandishing a Weapon, Conspiracy, and Battery. The incident remains under investigation.
