An Imperial County Sheriff's Deputy made a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation on Saturday and that led to multiple felony charges against a driver.

The deputy stopped the vehicle in Salton City and when he approached the vehicle, he noticed the driver displayed symptoms of being intoxicated. A Field Sobriety Test was administered and while performing the test deputies observed a plastic bag containing a powdery substance next to the man's feet. The substance tested positive for cocaine. Deputies also located ecstasy pills, hallucinogenic mushrooms, a scale and a loaded 9mm pistol. The driver, Domingo Reyes, was arrested and booked into Imperial County Jail on charges of a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Narcotics while Armed, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of a Hallucinate, Possession of Ecstasy, Possession of Ecstasy for Sale, Transportation of Narcotics for Sale, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
